The idea
A café for a day, without leaving home.
Home and apartment cafés are small gatherings where the hosts create a short menu, make the food and drinks themselves, and turn part of their home into a temporary café-like space.
Verandah Cafe is our backyard version: two couples cooking an Indian-fusion menu, pricing each item as a café would, and staying part of the afternoon instead of disappearing behind a restaurant kitchen.
We love the familiar feeling of a neighborhood café—the thoughtful food, the mismatched chairs, and the freedom to stay for another cup. The website handles the practical bits so the actual café can remain personal.
